[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] AlphaBiz announced on the 1st that it has become the first media company to obtain certification as an Innovation-Driven Venture Company.
The certification highlights official recognition of AlphaBiz’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) patent technology and its innovative business model.
South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups grants Venture Company certifications to businesses that demonstrate strong technological capabilities and significant growth potential under strict evaluation standards.
AlphaBiz has focused on developing differentiated technologies, including its AI-based news analysis system and big data–driven content production solutions.
In October, the company secured a patent for its global content distribution optimization solution—an AI model–based system designed to enhance exposure and inbound engagement of media content.
Building on this achievement, AlphaBiz became the first media company to acquire the “Innovation-Driven Venture Company Certification” in November, contributing to higher-quality news content and improved reader experience.
With this certification, AlphaBiz plans to further strengthen its technology-driven growth strategy and position itself as a leader in the future media industry.
Sangjin Kim, CEO of Media Alpha, said, “This certification proves that AlphaBiz has evolved beyond a traditional media outlet into a true technology company. We will continue to drive innovation in the media industry through ongoing technological development and investment.”
