[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Naver is rebranding its ‘Naver Guaranteed Delivery’ service as ‘Naver Delivery,’ offering more detailed shipping options such as same-day delivery, next-day delivery, Sunday delivery, and preferred-date delivery. Additionally, Naver membership users will benefit from free returns and exchanges.

The company announced on the 28th that it will launch the ‘Naver Delivery’ service next month, coinciding with the release of its AI-powered shopping app, ‘Naver Plus Store,’ marking a significant transformation in its e-commerce sector.

With the introduction of Naver Delivery, the company has categorized its shipping options into:

Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed between midnight and 11 a.m. will be delivered within the same day.

Next-Day Delivery: Orders made between 11 a.m. and midnight (cutoff times vary by seller, ranging from 6 p.m. to midnight) will be delivered the following day.
Sunday Delivery: Orders placed between 11 a.m. and midnight on Saturday will be delivered on Sunday.
Preferred-Date Delivery: Customers can select a specific date for delivery.

By clearly segmenting delivery options, Naver aims to enhance user experience by making estimated arrival times more intuitive.

Naver expects the introduction of Naver Delivery to reduce average shipping times by up to two hours by the end of the year compared to last year. The company also plans to improve its already high 97% delivery date accuracy through continuous monitoring and upgrades to its partner network. If an order does not arrive as promised under the selected delivery option, Naver will compensate customers with 1,000 Naver Pay points.

Currently, same-day and Sunday delivery services are only available in Seoul and the metropolitan area, but Naver plans to expand coverage nationwide by the end of the year.

Additionally, the company aims to introduce new services, including Dawn Delivery, which ensures early morning arrival for late-night orders, and Instant Delivery, which completes delivery within approximately one hour of ordering.
