[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Woori Financial Group is seeking to acquire Mirae Asset Securities Building in Yeouido, Seoul, which has been put up for sale.

Woori Finance, which has re-entered the securities industry for the first time in 10 years, is trying to build a new office building in the center of Yeouido stock market.

According to the investment banking (IB) industry on the 23rd, Woori Financial Group participated in the bidding for the sale of Mirae Asset Securities Building through its affiliate Woori Asset Management. In addition to Woori Asset Management, MDM Group and DL E&C are said to have participated in the bidding.
