[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Kumho Tire announced on the 19th that it will supply original equipment tires for the Volkswagen Multivan T7. The supplied product is the ECSTA HS52, available in two sizes: 235/55R17 and 235/50R18.
The Volkswagen Multivan, which has been in production since 1949, is Volkswagen's longest-running model. The T7 version is built on the MQB platform, which includes the latest commercial vehicle features such as digital cluster packages and wireless charging pads.
The ECSTA HS52 tires for the Multivan T7 are designed to offer a comfortable driving experience and high safety. Kumho Tire stated that the tires are suitable for both sedans and sports vehicles.
The tread pattern features a solid block design that maintains consistent road contact pressure, reducing impact and noise while enhancing ride comfort.
The ECSTA HS52 achieved high ratings in summer tire performance tests conducted earlier this year by influential German automotive magazines ADAC and Auto Bild, securing third place (Good rating) and fourth place (Good rating), respectively. This is one of the highest evaluations among domestic tire manufacturers.
