Seegene, a prominent molecular diagnostics company, has announced the acquisition of Pentaworks, a software development firm.

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Seegene announced on the 10th that it has acquired 100% of the shares in Pentaworks, a domestic software (SW) development company.

In January, Seegene acquired ‘Brex,’ an information and communication company specializing in user experience and user interface (UX/UI) planning. Seegene plans to develop software by integrating the newly acquired Pentaworks with Brex.

Seegene will utilize Pentaworks' proprietary research and development (R&D) platform for new business projects and enhance customer web services.
