[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Air Premia, a domestic low-cost airline focusing on North American routes, has withdrawn its plan for a capital increase of ₩100 billion. However, the company is set to reassess a smaller capital increase of ₩50 billion within the year.

According to the investment banking (IB) industry on the 21st, Air Premia announced the cancellation of its new share issuance on the 18th, scrapping the ₩100 billion capital increase plan. An IB industry source stated, "The original plan has been retracted, and discussions are underway to consider a smaller capital increase of at least ₩50 billion this year."

The current shareholder composition includes AP Holdings (44%), JC Partners (22%), and other shareholders. Initially, JC Partners acquired management rights in Air Premia in 2021 but later transferred it to AP Holdings. Daemyung Sono Group is expected to acquire JC Partners' stake by June next year, becoming the second-largest shareholder.
