[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Taihan Electric Wire announced on the 18th that it has consecutively secured three power grid projects in the United States. The total order amount is approximately 130 billion won. This brings Taihan Electric Wire's total new orders in the U.S. this year to over 330 billion won.

A high-voltage project worth about 45 billion won is a project being carried out in the eastern United States, where a 345-kilovolt (kV) power grid will be constructed for a new semiconductor plant in New York State. This project will be carried out in a full turnkey method, which includes material supply, power grid design, installation, connection, and testing. Since stable power supply is essential for semiconductor plants, Taihan Electric Wire's advanced technology and project management capabilities were key factors in their selection.

The two medium- and low-voltage projects are being carried out in the Los Angeles area of California and are worth a total of 85 billion won. One of these is a long-term project to supply medium- and low-voltage cables over three years.
