[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] Korean Drug Co, Ltd was raided for offering illegal rebates.

According to the industry on the 29th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Criminal Task Force raided the Korean Drug headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from 9 a.m.

Police are investigating the size of the rebate, believing that Korean Drug CEO and executives and employees are suspected of violating the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, such as providing illegal rebates to doctors at general hospitals in return for using drugs. However, the police explained that this issue is not related to the conflict caused by the increase in the number of medical schools.

Korean Drug is a company founded in 1982.
