[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Following a major hacking incident, Lotte Card has yet to finalize the appointment of its next CEO, pushing the decision into the new year. At the company’s final regular board meeting of 2025 on December 17, the agenda to convene the Nomination Committee for selecting a successor was not raised, prolonging the leadership vacuum.

Since CEO Jo Jwa-jin’s resignation was formalized last month, the succession process has not advanced. In the meantime, Jo retains full authority as CEO, ensuring the company’s operations continue uninterrupted.
