[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] On the 7th, Kumho Petrochemical announced that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter amounted to 786 billion won, a decrease of 40.4% compared to the same period last year.

The revenue decreased by 3.1% year-on-year to 10.675 trillion won. The net profit decreased by 24.9% year-on-year to 1.026 trillion won.
