[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] KB Kookmin Bank’s mobile banking app, “KB Star Banking,” once again experienced access delays and login errors, causing significant inconvenience for customers. Similar issues had occurred in September and October last year.

On Monday, from around 9:50 AM to 11:00 AM, users faced difficulties accessing the app. Upon attempting to log in, customers received a message stating “high traffic, please wait,” followed by an error message causing the app to shut down.

Previously, the KB Star Banking app suffered outages in September and October last year, with customers facing hours of disruption. At that time, KB Kookmin Bank refunded fees for transactions conducted via branch offices or ATMs due to the system error.

Frustrated users are now raising concerns over persistent system instability. A KB Kookmin Bank representative explained, “An unexpected surge in transaction volume temporarily delayed login processes. We will implement preventive measures to ensure stable service moving forward.”
