[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SPC Samlip (KRX: 005610) announced on June 24 that it has resumed full operations at its Siwha production facility, nearly two months after a government-imposed suspension following a fatal workplace accident.

The company stated in a regulatory filing that it had received an official notice from the Ministry of Employment and Labor lifting the suspension order on all production lines. SPC Samlip emphasized that it had completed all required corrective measures and safety improvements, in collaboration with labor representatives and external safety experts, as mandated by the labor authorities.

The shutdown was initiated after a tragic incident on April 19, when a female worker in her 50s was fatally injured while performing lubrication work and became trapped in machinery. In response, the Ministry of Employment and Labor issued a stop-work order on eight production lines, prompting the company to halt all operations at the plant.

Earlier this month, SPC Samlip had gradually restarted 19 lines deemed unrelated to the incident, while maintaining the suspension on 10 lines directly or indirectly connected to the accident. With today’s clearance, the company has now resumed operations across all lines at the Siwha plant.

SPC Samlip reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing workplace safety and preventing the recurrence of similar incidents in the future.
