[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] The members of NewJeans have reportedly sent a formal notice to their agency, ADOR, demanding the reinstatement of former CEO Min Hee-jin, threatening to terminate their exclusive contract if these requests are not met. This move marks a significant escalation in the conflict that began in April, when an audit of Min and others led to what has been termed the "ADOR crisis."
On November 13, the music industry confirmed that NewJeans members—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein—sent the official notice under their real names. In the document, the members demanded that ADOR address the "serious breaches" of their contract within 14 days of receiving the notice.
Previously, NewJeans had outlined specific grievances following the April "ADOR crisis," in which several controversies came to light. The group’s demands included the resolution of these outstanding issues as part of their conditions for continuing their contract with the agency.
