[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Chung Ki-sun, vice chairman of HD Hyundai, will push for cloud conversion and artificial intelligence (AI) commercialization with Naver for a digital transformation.
HD Hyundai signed a business agreement with Team Naver (Naver and its affiliates) on 'cloud conversion and AI commercialization' at Naver's second data center 'each Sejong' in Sejong City on the 11th. Vice Chairman Chung Ki-sun and Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon attended the meeting in person, demonstrating the high interest of the two companies in business cooperation.
There are three main areas of cooperation between the two companies. HD Hyundai's cloud conversion, support for the use of 'HyperCLOVA X', Naver's super-large AI, advancement of infrastructure for cloud business, and HD Hyundai Marine Solution's marine digital application business.
First, HyperCLOVA X, Naver's LLM AI, will be applied to more than 200 million shipbuilding and marine databases owned by HD Hyundai to implement generative AI services. HD Hyundai expected that this would maximize work efficiency. HD Hyundai is also planning to convert its own infrastructure into a Naver cloud platform.
We are also looking for opportunities for new businesses. HD Hyundai and Team Naver will officially and jointly launch the Ocean Data Cloud, a comprehensive marine data platform, soon.
