KCC acquired the remaining stake in Momentive for 400 billion won

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] KCC announced on the 28th that it will acquire all remaining shares of 'Momentive', a subsidiary acquired in 2019 and a global silicon company.

KCC and private equity fund operator SJL Partners signed a stock trading contract to acquire 40,941 shares of Momentive held by private equity joint venture "MOM PEF."

The total amount of the contract is 807.9 billion won, but KCC already has a 49.8% stake in MOM PEF, so the actual amount used to acquire the remaining stake is about 405 billion won.

KCC and SJL Partners will exchange stocks on May 14 after signing the contract first.

Through this, KCC will be able to speed up its own business and decision-making by securing a 100% stake in the momentum.
