[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] The FTC imposed sanctions on Samsung Electronics, saying it was unfair to request information from the agency

Samsung Electronics interfered in management by asking the agency for information on the amount of goods sold It was sanctioned by the Fair Trade Commission.

The Fair Trade Commission said today (10th) that it will issue a correction order for Samsung Electronics' violation of the agency law.

The FTC explained that Samsung Electronics was required to enter information on the sales amount of home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners into the computer system it operates from January 2017 to September 2023.

The sales amount information is important information that shows the agency's specific margin.

If the headquarters finds out, the agency will be at a disadvantage in future supply price negotiations between the agency and the headquarters.

The FTC decided to impose sanctions on Samsung Electronics, believing that such actions constitute interference in unfair management activities.
