Hyundai Recalls 220,000 Vehicles in the U.S. Over Rear Camera Defect

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Motor is recalling 226,118 vehicles sold in the U.S. due to issues with rear-view cameras.


According to reports on the 27th, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has ordered the recall following concerns that the rear-view camera images may not display correctly.

The recall affects 2021-2022 Santa Fe SUVs and Elantra (known as Avante in Korea) sedans. The NHTSA stated that the recall will involve free replacements of the rear-view cameras at authorized dealerships.
