[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Kumho Petrochemical sold its stake in the latex plant, which has been in operation since 2009 in a joint venture with a Chinese company.

According to the industry on the 18th, Kumho Petrochemical signed a contract with a joint venture to sell its 50% stake in China in January this year. The process of selling the stake has been completed.

Kumho Petrochemical is known to have decided that it is better to clean up its business in consideration of additional costs, such as facility investment, as China's environmental regulations are being tightened.
