Amorepacific Group to Change Name to 'Amorepacific Holdings'

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Amorepacific Group, the holding company of Amorepacific, will change its name to "Amorepacific Holdings."


On Thursday, Amorepacific Group announced that its board of directors had decided to approve an amendment to the company's articles of incorporation at the regular shareholders' meeting on March 25 to change its name to "Amorepacific Holdings."


A company representative explained, "This change aims to clarify the role of the holding company."


On the same day, Amorepacific Group also announced a plan to retire treasury shares. The company will retire 3 million common shares, equivalent to 3.13% of its total issued shares. Based on the previous day's closing price, the value of the shares to be retired amounts to approximately 68.85 billion KRW. The scheduled retirement date is the 13th.
