The incident occurred between April of last year and the end of November this year, and it was uncovered during a regular inspection by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS).

The potential loss amount is yet to be determined, but the collateral for the loan amounts to 10.71 billion KRW.

A KB Kookmin Bank representative explained that during the handling of commercial property loans, loans were issued to stakeholders of the development company rather than the actual buyers.
