[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] A T’way Air flight (TW140) traveling from Kalibo, Philippines, to Incheon, South Korea, made an unscheduled landing in Taipei, Taiwan, for aircraft inspection.

According to reports on December 9, the flight landed safely at Taipei Airport after departing from Kalibo. The airline announced that a replacement aircraft will transport the 186 passengers onboard to their final destination in Incheon.

T’way Air stated, "The plane has landed safely in Taipei and is currently undergoing inspection. As the inspection is expected to take a significant amount of time, a replacement aircraft has been deployed." The airline added that passengers will be informed of their boarding time once the departure schedule from Taipei is finalized.
