Seohee Construction Reports Embezzlement Case Involving Executive

[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] SEOUL, Aug. 11 — Seohee Construction announced today that it has identified an alleged embezzlement case involving Vice President Song, amounting to approximately 1.375 billion won (US$1.02 million). The amount represents about 0.14% of the company’s equity capital.



According to the company, the figure is based on the indictment and may be subject to change depending on the court’s ruling. The alleged incident date corresponds to July 31, when the indictment was filed, while the confirmation date refers to August 11, when the company reviewed the indictment.



Seohee Construction stated that it will make further disclosures if there are any developments or confirmed facts. The company added, “We will take appropriate measures in accordance with the law and will fully cooperate with the relevant authorities in their investigation.”
